Can my bone handle implants?
YES. Even if you have osteoporosis, your jaws can hold dental implants. The main thing that makes dental implants fail is heavy smoking. Even diabetics can have dental implants most of the time.
How long does it take?
From 1 day to 1 year, but with recent advancements the average time until you get your final snap-in or screw-in teeth is 4 months, but everyone is different. It is getting faster by the day and you never go without teeth.
I'm afraid of the dentist. Can you help me with that?
We offer several forms of sedation: oral sedation, laughing gas and IV sedation. We can even have a nurse anesthetist come into the office to put you to sleep.
What does it cost?
It depends on what you want. Snap in dentures range from $2000-8000 while screw-in porcelain teeth run from $9995-15,000. It is not cheap, but imagine being able to eat whatever you want whenever you want!
Does dental insurance cover it?
YES. But remember that dental insurance has a maximum, ranging from $1000-2500, depending on your plan. Dental insurance helps with the costs but will never cover all the costs.
Does medical insurance or Medicaid/Medicare cover it?
NO. Unfortunately at this time no health insurance covers the costs of dental implants.
